Private Blog Test

So, you all know I took this blog private. Before I did so, I subscribed to my own blog so I could read it through my Google Reader. It let me do one final edit in case I needed to make small changes before it was read by the masses. Now it doesn't show up there anymore. I'm fairly certain it's because of the privacy thing.

So, two questions:

1. Can you see my blog in your reader (if you use one) now that it's private?

2. Is there something I can do to make my blog more accessible to those who like to read my drivel (without changing the privacy status)?

Well, I can see your blog. I got to it the same way I always do, which is to click on the link to it from my blog under "Blogs I follow". I will try and get to it from Google, which is how I used to get to it a few months ago.

Nope. Can't get to it just by googling any more. It only shows up as what I am already subscribed too. Mission accomplished!

User does not have permission to read this blog.

That's the message when I try to subscribe.

Doesn't show up in reader anymore.

I had the same issue with you about privacy status stuff, and I couldn't come up with anything that worked that well :-(

I see it and can comment - even though I'm delayed in actually getting around to checking Google Reader.

It looks fine in my Google Reader. It was good seeing you in Vegas. Sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you. Next time.

I don't have any problem to check your blog. but it is different to tell google that they don't index your blog.
